Satya Nadella aka Satya Narayana Nadella is the chief executive officer of Microsoft.He was appointed CEO on 4 february 2014. Satya was born in Bukkampurm,Anantpur,Andhra Pradesh, India in a Telgu family. Nadella attended the Hyderabad Public School in Begumpet before attaining a bachelor of engineering in Electrical and Electronics degree from Manipal Instiute of Technology,Manipal ,Karnataka.
After moving to the U.S Nadella completed MS in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
Nadella firstly worked with Sun microsystems as the member of technology staff.Nadella joined Microsoft in 1992 he led the major project like the company's move to the Cloud computing and developed the Worlds largest Cloud infrastructure.Nadella worked as the senior vice president of research and development for the online service and Microsoft Business division . Later he was made of $ 19 billion Server and tools Business.He has been credited for helping bring Microsoft's database, window Server and its Azure cloud. The revenue form cloud service grew from $ 16.6 billion to $20.3 billion in june 2013.
Nadella married Anupama in 1992,daughter of his father's IAS batchmate,K.R Venugopal. They have three children, a son and two daughters and live in Bellevue, Washington.
Nadella is very found of American and Indian poetry and The game of Cricket the sport was his passion growing up and he also played for his School's Cricket team.He mentioned that he learned leadership and teamwork from cricket.
